T O P I C R E V I E Wastro_kittyHi everyone! I'm new to LG, I've been reading forums for a few months now and finally decided to join. I am pretty new to astrology. In my natal chart I have a grand water trine and also a kite. I tried googling descriptions but it seemed a little vague, although it seems to mean an easy flow of emotions? How do the different planets affect the trine and kite?My grand trine is Venus in Scorpio 7 degreesSaturn in Pisces 5 degreesMC in Pisces 6 degreesand Ascendant in Cancer 0 degreesMy kite is the same as above, withMoon in Capricorn 2 degrees. It is in opposition to my ascendant in cancer.I also read a kite could indicate talent, but I don't know which type of talent this could be lol. Thanks for any explanations!GrahamConventionally, trines/"talent triangles" and Kites consist only of planets ... (because the angles and other points do not emit light/energy).So ... conventionally ... you have a 'triangle of potential talent", consisting of Moon-Venus-Saturn.However, that triangle is interacting/engaging directly with other people. ... Moon with those who know you intimately (Desc) : Venus with those whom you regard as family (IC) : Saturn with colleagues (MC). ... Consequently, those people will be more aware of your potential talent than yourself is.The triangle itself is made up of one talent that is already developed (the Venus-Saturn trine) and two talents that are latent (the Moon-Venus and Moon-Saturn sextiles). Hence, you have to consciously work on the latent talents - if you want to develop their full potential. To identify what each of these talents actually are (since each planet/sign/house symbolises many things), you have to monitor the progressions and transits that activate them. When activated, an event is created ... and that event should reveal what talent(s) the natal aspect symbolises specifically for you. ... However, cook-book descriptions of each aspect will give you some idea of what they might be - so, look these general interpretations up on the internet before attempting to narrow them down (by reviewing events created by progressions and transits to your natal aspects). In some ways Saturn can dampen your emotional nature which can make you more serious and cautious when meeting new people. This reservation can make you miss out on some opportunities in relationships, but you have good judgment when it comes to what you want in a partner so you don’t tend to need so much experience or experimentation to know what you want. You are also quite balanced in your relationships, preferring harmony to conflict, you are able to resolve difficulties without getting too emotional or flying of the handle. You don’t expect too much from others, and take relationship problems in stride, intuitively understanding that there’s always some bad with any good. I will be looking more into the Moon-Venus and Moon-Saturn sextiles. I'm actually not really comfortable meeting new people. I think it's easier for me to treat strangers like family at work (medical field) due to the setting, but I'm not really aware if I have qualities that are Cancer like or not. It's possible though. So ... conventionally ... you have a 'triangle of potential talent", consisting of Moon-Venus-Saturn.
However, that triangle is interacting/engaging directly with other people. ... Moon with those who know you intimately (Desc) : Venus with those whom you regard as family (IC) : Saturn with colleagues (MC). ... Consequently, those people will be more aware of your potential talent than yourself is.
The triangle itself is made up of one talent that is already developed (the Venus-Saturn trine) and two talents that are latent (the Moon-Venus and Moon-Saturn sextiles). Hence, you have to consciously work on the latent talents - if you want to develop their full potential.
To identify what each of these talents actually are (since each planet/sign/house symbolises many things), you have to monitor the progressions and transits that activate them.
When activated, an event is created ... and that event should reveal what talent(s) the natal aspect symbolises specifically for you. ... On that basis ... you have a Grand Trine (in water signs) with its apex at the Cancer Ascendant - which connects to your "triangle of potential talent" to form a Kite, that has the Ascendant as its tail/peak "planet".
People with kite figures in their natal chart constantly strive for self-development; want to know the meaning of everything and will often go from one extreme to another (to identify "the best way", then find their own middle ground).
